After outsourcing stream encoding and distribution to external CDN providers, CCMA faced a key challenge — limited visibility into the actual quality of live streams delivered to viewers.

When issues occurred — freezes, manifest errors, or signal loss — it was difficult to quickly identify where the problem originated and who was responsible. This made troubleshooting slower and increased the risk of service degradation for end users.

Integration of Elecard Boro into CCMA’s monitoring workflow

Elecard Boro was integrated into CCMA’s live streaming quality assessment process. The solution provides 24/7 monitoring 50 HLS and DASH streams, including multiple variations for web and mobile devices, as well as radio streams.

The deployment was carried out within one week. The main probe was installed inside the company’s DMZ on a virtual machine. Four dedicated teams monitor stream analytics through Elecard Boro’s intuitive web interface. Results are displayed in real time on large screens, enabling engineers to promptly detect and troubleshoot issues.
