StreamEye Studio 2026 is a major update to our comprehensive video analysis toolkit. We've focused on boosting performance, expanding analytical capabilities, and enhancing user experience. The improvements span both the platform as a whole and each individual tool within the suite.

General Improvements to Elecard StreamEye Studio

  • Migration to Qt 6 framework. The platform upgrade delivers a more modern, responsive, and visually refined interface. Enhanced design of controls, fonts, and menus improves usability and comfort during daily work with the product.
  • Full macOS compatibility. Resolved the app verification issue on macOS, ensuring quick and seamless installation on Apple devices without additional security settings.
  • UI localization into Mandarin Chinese.

Key Product Updates

Elecard StreamEye

  • Support for APV video codec.
  • HDR Vivid identification and metadata display.
  • Improved AV1 analysis. Added Switch Frame indication, additional OBU metadata presentation, and extended statistics.
  • Enhanced buffer analysis experience:
    - Panel synchronization: Moving the cursor on the Buffer graph is now synchronized with the corresponding frame display in BarChart and Stream Viewer panels. Analyzing frame-related data across multiple panels has become faster and easier.
    - Data aggregation: All buffer entry data is now consolidated in a single table for comprehensive analysis.
    - Buffer fullness indication for the current cursor position.
    - Support for AV1 buffer analysis.
  • Capability to open HLS master playlist and select a rendition for further analysis of its chunks.
  • Significantly increased calculation speed. VMAF library update and multithreading mode for HEVC decoder have substantially accelerated quality metric calculation and HEVC stream analysis.

Elecard Video Quality Estimator

  • Complete engine redesign. The product has been fundamentally rebuilt and now offers a new level of performance and usability.
  • Expanded comparison capabilities. You can now analyze up to 5 compressed or uncompressed files simultaneously (instead of 2 compressed and 1 uncompressed previously).
  • Capability to open HLS or MPEG-DASH manifest and select a certain profile for analysis of all related segments.
  • Significantly increased calculation speed. VMAF library update and multithreading mode for HEVC decoder have substantially accelerated quality metric calculation and HEVC stream analysis.

Elecard Stream Analyzer

  • Support for APV video codec.
  • HDR Vivid identification and metadata display.
  • Improved Bitrate graph: You can now set the analysis window size to 10, 100, 250, or 500 ms for precise microburst and anomaly detection.
  • Extended stream information. The tool now displays additional video data (chroma format, scan type, GOP structure and length, bitrate, color primaries, etc.) and audio data (bitrate mode and value, language).
  • PID display for each error, enabling quick identification of the problem source. Added error filtering by service, PID, or tables.
  • Numbering of TS packets and PID indication for each packet, providing maximum detail during analysis.
  • Optimized parsing algorithms, resulting in faster stream analysis.
  • Capability to open HLS or MPEG-DASH manifest and select a profile for further analysis of all segments.
