Evaluation of H.264/AVC and H.265/HEVC encoders and deep analysis of video files encoded for VOD service provided via MPEG-DASH protocol.

StreamEye Studio is used to check if the stream can be played on the clients’ STBs. Such parameters as bitrate, frame statistics, GOP alignment, HDR, variability of quantization parameter, structure of the headers, etc. are evaluated.

Elecard StreamEye Studio is a set of very reliable, powerful and flexible tools which are very helpful in video analysis. I especially appreciate the ability to work in command line mode. This allows me to build some custom flows for particular tests. For example, I used StreamEye Console to test about 50 different settings of HEVC encoding to find the best one to produce stable MPEG-DASH stream for commercial STB decoder.
