Water Sports Center "Zvezdniy", located in Tomsk, is one of the largest sports centers in West Siberia. Apart from regular trainings and routine events this center successfully hosts multiregional and global sports events. In September 2016 "Zvezdniy" had a privilege to host CMAS Finswimming World Cup Final.


Setting up live video streaming of World Cup Final 2016 for finswimming to Youtube channel in HD quality.


Implementation of a system that receives video content from 8 FullHD cameras using IP protocol, overlays infographics and sportcaster's comments and further streams the video content to Youtube channel of Water Sports Center "Zvezdniy".

Elecard solution is based on the technology of encoding video into AVC/H.264 format and streaming of the media content via IP networks. RTMP filter which was custom-developed for this task, makes it possible to easily set the required broadcasting parameters for the social networks (Facebook and Odnoklassniki) or web sites such as Youtube. Parameters include a broadcasting address and a private key of the webpage where the stream is broadcasted. It enables effective streaming to the specified web-source without any other additional settings.

It was absolutely striking that breakthrough picture quality was achieved with minimum hardware expenses. We enjoyed excellent quality with only 6% of CPU utilization due to using unique encoding algorithms developed by Elecard team. It provided an extra high performance level which can be compared only to the multiple-pass offline algorithms.
