I have capped VBR TS stream. All of know this VBR TS stream has VBR Video, Audio and null data to makes TS keep fixed bitrate.
Now I hope to demux capped VBR ts and mux again without null data. It reduce the file size. And it's result is similar with m2ts file.
Q1) Are you agree with my thought?
Q2) With XMux Pro, can I creat VBR TS?

Any one opinion would be appreciated.

Hello ckpark62,

1) Transport Stream should be CBR according to the standard specification. Besides if you plan to further broadcast this stream - many STBs have a requirement for the TS to be CBR.
2) To create VBR TS with Xmuxer Pro - you need to right-click the upper line of the right (output) pane in the Remux Mode and deselect 'Use padding' option. These actions are described in the XMuxer Pro online tips:
http://www.elecard.com/support/kb/answer.php?faq_id=83

or in the documentation 4.5.3 article.

Out of curiosity - what spec are you referring to? I was interested in reading about that.
