Question

How can I merge several files into one? Is it possible to merge them without re-encoding?

Answer

Yes, in most cases you don't need to re-encode files before merging. If you need to merge several files into one, you need to go through the following steps:

1. Run Elecard Converter Studio AVC HD Edition.

2. Choose «Open Media Files...» in the File menu. You can also use CTRL + M.

3. In «Open media file(s)» window select media files group mode - Single file.

4. Click «Open media files» button and select files for conversion.

5. Double click on the new task in the Batch list.

6. Select stream type in the «Task parameters» window (Stream type parameters).

7. Select «stream copy» for video and audio (Video/Audio encoding parameters). If you need to re-encode files before merging, you must set the formats and adjustments for encode or just select the preset you need.

8. Press the «Save to Batch list» button to save the task to the Batch list.

9. Run conversion process by pressing the «Run batch list encoding» button on Batch List panel.
