Elecard StreamEye Studio Demo

Elecard StreamEye Studio is the next step in evolution of Elecard StreamEye Tools. Elecard StreamEye Studio program is a tool designed for professionals and prosumers in the video compression field. It enables the user to perform an effective in-depth analysis of video sequences.

StreamEye Studio provides the user with a visual representation of the encoded video features and a stream structure analysis of MPEG-1/2 video streams, MPEG-1 System Streams, MPEG-2 Program Streams and MPEG-2 Transport Streams.

StreamEye Studio is based on the Elecard Media Indexing technology. The program displays frames, their size, type, time position, and order in the stream; bit rate declared in headers as well as other common video stream parameters. The indexing technology allows StreamEye Studio to provide the user with the ability to quickly navigate through a stream with frame accuracy.

Note

The main idea behind releasing a demo version is to find out what customers really liked about StreamEye Studio and what they would like to see in the full version. The demo version is available for free download. You are welcome leave your feedback by following this link.

Features

  • Navigation and displaying a media stream picture-by-picture (I, P, B)
  • Displaying the current frame
  • Displaying the time, type, size and number of a current frame in a stream, decoding order and offset from the file beginning
  • Displaying the bit rate declared in the header
  • Displaying the bit rate lines
  • Displaying detailed information about macroblocks in MPEG-1 (ISO/IEC 11172-2), MPEG-2 (ISO/IEC 13818-2) video streams

Exclusive Features

  • Frame-accurate positioning
  • Displaying of current frame and they properties: size, type, time
  • Navigation modes: picture-by-picture in stream and display orders, or picture-by-picture respect to picture type (I, P, B)
  • Displaying of the stream and gathering of statistics relating to the entire file
  • Displaying of internal data partitioning for motion vectors and coefficients in the frame
  • Frame thumbnails displaying
  • Buffer Analyzer
  • Hex viewer
  • Histogram displaying for selected frame

Buffer Analyzer

Buffer Analyzer window builds and visualizes a VBV (video buffering verifier) chart for an opened stream

Coefficients Info

Coefficients Info window shows different macroblock coefficients

Headers Info

The Headers Info window shows the following header structures for the current frame

Histogram

Histogram window shows YUV component histograms for the selected frame.

Hex Viewer

The Hex Viewer window shows the opened file content in binary, hexadecimal and ASCII modes.

MB Info

MB Info window shows information on macro blocks in the MPEG-1/2/4 and AVC/H.264 streams.

Picture Info

The Picture Info window shows the current frame statistics: the macroblock count, the frame size excepting the headers data size (total size of the mackroblocks, bits [bytes]), the transform coefficients data amount (bits [percentage in the frame size]), the motion vectors data amount (bits [percentage in the frame size]), the maximum mackroblock size (bits [mackroblock address]), the maximum and minimum values of the motion vector components (X and Y [mackroblock address]).

Stream Info

The Stream Info window shows stream type (MPEG-1/2/4 or AVC/H.264), resolution, profile, level, aspect ratio, frames count, duration, framerate (real and declared), declared bitrate and bit allocation (maximal, minimal and average).

Video window

The Video window visualizes the currently opened video stream.

Zoom

Zoom window shows video frame on a large scale (32:1). The window allows visualization of a macroblock grid and YUV pixel value.
