Elecard AVC/H.264 Encoder Pack

Codec pack comprising Elecard AVC/H.264 encoder and decoder, audio encoders and decoders, multiplexers and demultiplexers, streaming components. The codec pack can be used to develop applications (such as video converter by Elecard) that produce iPod video, Sony PSP video, 3GP video, convert dvd to psp; various security and surveillance video systems.

Elecard AVC/H.264 Video Encoder is based on the Microsoft® DirectShow® architecture and is implemented as a DirectShow® transform filter.

• Selectable profiles up to “High Profile”.
• Selectable levels up to “Level 5.1”
• Bit-rate support up to Level 5.1 restriction (288 Mbps).
• Configurable bit-rate control (CBR, Constant Quantization, VBR, multipass).
• Configurable GOP structure (I-, P- and B-frames in different combinations, pyramidal B-frames coding).
• Configurable motion estimation (search range, number of reference frames, sub-block search and sub-pixel depth, weighted prediction).

There are Professional and Standard versions of the encoder available. The Standard version is restricted to Baseline and Main Profiles and level 3.1 (SD).
