SC-1500 is a reference design kit, an integrated hardware and software system that leverages the
power of the PNX1500 multimedia processor developed by Philips Semiconductors Inc. for Internet applications.
SC-1500 supports video capture in a variety of formats, making it ideal as a IP-camera for multi-media streaming
and security applications. The 300 MHz Philips Nexperia™ PNX1502 (formerly called TriMedia) is intended for the
use with Elecard video and audio codecs.
