HDAccess 2.0

HD Access SD\HD ASI PCI-express board reference design.

Elecard HDAccess 2.0 is a PCI-E board for receiving and transmitting uncompressed video and audio streams through HD/SD SDI. It also allows receiving and transmitting MPEG-2 TS format data through DVB-ASI.

As the board is based on the FPGA platform its functionality depends on IP Cores implemented on the FPGA. Device architecture was developed especially for work with huge memory and host bus bandwidth and therefore is useful as reference design for the real time FPGA applications that perform HD video processing.

  • Manages PID filter up to 256 PID per receive channel

  • Provides parallel operations at full range from 0 to 214 Mbps

Elecard provides a variety of PC applications that utilize hardware features of the Elecard HDAccess board.

  • Capturing HD\SD SDI video signal with embedded audio
  • Real-time processing of an image from SDI signal and passing it on to SDI output
  • Capturing HD\SD SDI video and real-time AVC encoding
  • Capturing HD\SD SDI video, real-time encoding, and transmitting it via DVB-ASI interface
