Today, Elecard announced the release of the updated product line of AVC and MPEG-2 plugins for WMP, a package of Elecard's components for advanced multimedia products.
The package comprises Elecard AVC PlugIn for WMP v.2.0 and Elecard MPEG-2 PlugIn for WMP v.4.0, the two long-anticipated solutions of the popular Elecard's product line. They bring the new features and improvements, while keeping the outstanding quality that has been developed for years.
The new editions of the both packages make it possible for you to play any AVC and MPEG-2 content no matter whether it is local media files or streams received from live streaming or VOD servers. The plugins work with any multimedia application supporting the DirectShow® technology, including all of the Elecard products and Microsoft® Windows Media Player® of any version.
Elecard AVC PlugIn for WMP v.2.0 also brings the AVC HD® support that might be very useful for the owners of the AVC HD® camcorders such as Sony® HDR-SR1E, Panasonic® HDC-SD1 etc.
