DVD Playback

Hello,

I'm new to this and have downloaded the evaluation files for the DVD player and also the MPEG player. However, when playing my dvd, it does not produce sound. Is it because this is an evaluation version or is there something wrong. All I want is to be able to watch DVDs in my computer, what would be the package to do this including sound?

Hello Newb,
Probably in your system is not present suitable AC-3 Audio decoder.
To use our decoder (Elecard Audio Decoder) for decoding AC-3 it is necessary that your audio card had S/PDIF output. For this purpose after start Elecard DVD Player press button "Settings " or "Ctrl+S", choose bookmark "Audio->AC3" and check "AC-3 S/PDIF output".
