Hello,

We are seriously considering to acquire Elecard SDK especially for this filter. However in the evaluation kit there is no documentation for this filter. Before buying we will need to know how to configure this filter (and video/audio encoders AVC/AAC) from our program. We already bought WMP directshow filters from you a while back and we are very happy with the results.

Elecard SDKs Evaluation version includes only binaries of components and sample applications.

The purchased version of Elecard SDKs includes binaries of components and sample applications, all necessary documentation for all components and the source code of sample applications.

Please also note that our filters in the SDK intended for R&D purposes only and cannot be used for redistribution. For this purpose they are activated up to the demo mode only.
In demo mode filters won't have any restrictions except for the logo.

When you finish R&D phase and get ready for your product redistribution you should contact
our sales department(via email: sales@elecard.net.ru ) to purchase any Elecard Pack you need for OEM integration and redistribution. Filters in this pack will be activated to the full mode and won't have any restrictions and will show no logo(which is the only difference form the demo mode).

That's the whole point. Smiley How can I decide wether to buy the product or not if I don't have access to the documentation? At this point I am interested into working with this filter - controlling it... but without documentation it is useless. Obviously it will have the watermark... but I need to see how can I control it.

I hope you see my point.

Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts on our products! But our company policy is that for evaluating the quality and capabilities of our components it is enough to have evaluation  version of components and sample applications. If your task differs from tasks that are solved by sdk sample application you can register components in the system via "..\Elecard\Elecard Codec SDK G4\Components\regfilters.bat" file and then you can use them in 'graphedit' utility where you can change all filters' parameters via their Property Pages. Any graph with Elecard Filters that you can build in 'graphedit' utility you can build in your own application.

If you have any questions about our components you can ask us directly via tsup@elecard.ru email for quicker response.
