I bought xmuxer pro because it's exactly what i need for professional use. Unfortunately it fails muxing large VOBS (> 2GIGS) stopping at half the size... for no reason at all... i made several tries on different VOBS with same results
Is it a known issue?
Please need your answer asap.

There is unknown issue. In fact XMuxer hasn't any size limitation for file creating. Could you desribe in detail this problem?
Either is the application crashes or just stops? What maximum VOB size you got from XMuxer? Is this file size always constant? What file systems you use on your computer?

It's not a simple file limit. It's something more subtle.

Made several tries on VOBS produced by DVDShrink o DVDDecrypter btw.
I can sumarize this:

File System = NTFS on XP and Windows2000 PRO
With Vobs < 1Gbyte all is OK
With Vobs < 2 Gbyte sometimes ok, sometimes not
With Vobs > 2 Gbyte the dimensios is always almost half size of original.

Moreover when it starts the total time displayed is incorrect. It seems like it gets confused by  the internal time or timeline (PTS or something)  of VOBS (which is the reason why i would like to convert them).
Also play stops to half of the VOB.

Thanks for reply.

Thank you for your clarification. It seems that Elecard multiplexer breaks down within time stamps erorrs. In fact we are going to release new version of Elecard Multiplexer (it will be included into XMuxer update too) that works more stable.

If you wish I can send you beta version of Elecard multiplexer for test.

It seems that our demultiplexer has bug that can be cause of this problem. I hope we'll fix it in the short time.
