MPEG Player 4.0 (final release): Can not activate my copy of MPEG player 4.0. Error message "Wrong serial number".

Upgrade policy - the customers are entitled to free upgrade within the major version of their products and during one year since the purchase date.

Purchase date was 10.02.2005

Workaround (cause there are so many bugs): deinstall MPEG player 4.0 and downgrade to version 3.0.1

Serial numbers for 3.0 are not valid for 4.0.
Please make an official request for upgrade to our customer support (sales@elecard.net.ru).

I did what you wrote, but the answer is i should buy a new license for Version 4.0 . This is not satisfying at all   I told you about some bugs in the older versions. These bugs are fixed now, some not, but i should pay again in order to get bugfixes? This is not fair...

Thanks for your mail, but it still does not work. So i have to buy me a second license for your new products, even though one year after my first purchase is not over and i can't find bugfixes for the "older" versions of your products. But if i buy a new license, it would be nice if i can use it on my home PC and on my notebook  

Edit (30.09.2005): Today i've got another mail and it works - thanks a lot! So now i can purchase a second license for my notebook this weekend
