Must I have a professional install a digital converter box and antenna?

I have Direct TV. I cannot get any sub-channels through my remote. I assume that I need to get a digital converter box. Do I need to get a matching antenna and must it be located by a professional?

As I understood, you use Satellite TV provider and you use remote control.

To be able to get satellite channels and convert or detect it you need to have any capture card as AJA, Osprey, HD Access, etc.
Then you might use our Elecard Codec Works application.

In case you watch video on you PC, we offer Elecard AVC PlugIn for ProgDVB.
