Hi,

We are using NWSource-Plus filter version 1.4.018650.090506 and would be interested in specifying the source to ensure a source specific multicast Join to a multicast group (IGMPv3 compliant).
Going through the G4 SDK documentation, it looks like it would be possible to specify the multicast source in the elecard URL using the following syntax:
elecard://multicastGroup:Port:s=sourceIP:i=interfaceIP/udp

Is that really the purpose of that specifier and is it supported in that version? if not, which version would be able to support that?

Thanks,
Matthieu

The version of IGMP (2 or 3) is specified on the OS level. So, it cannot be set in NWSour

I don't think the response to this question actually addresses the question.  The question was whether or not the NWSourcePlus filter supports the specification of the source IP.  The documentation suggests that it does.  However, if windows is configured to support IGMPv3 and if you specify a URL in Graph Studio with an s=REMOVE_ALL_MESSAGE option containing the source IP for the multicast, the NWSourcePlus filter will fail to join the source specific multicast specified in the URL.  Therefore, this functionality does not appear to work.  Can anyone verify that it does work and what if any Windows configuration is required.
