I just purchased ECS AVC HD edition about a week ago. The video looks great--but I am not getting ANY audio.

It is showing an audio input and an audio output (below the video input and outputs) and I am able to mess with the audio parameters. However, when I send it to the batch list and encode it I get only video, no audio. I also receive the same error message when I send it to the batch list-- [mpeg-2 encoder] the bitrate is to low-- that has already been discussed on these forums.

The video looks great! Please help me with this audio!

*Side note--Not sure if this helps, but I will be editing in Premiere Pro CS3, which is the reason I got the ECS

I have also purchased the Elecard AVC HD Converter 3.0.80714 and installed on Windows Vista Ultimate. I can convert the Video but there is no Audio if I play the Imported AVC HD file or the Converted MPG file. Please help. Very urgent.

It works on Windows XP. But I have changed my machine and upgraded to Windows Vista Ultimate.

In the Elecard Studio forum they had a similar "no Audio" problem and it had something to do with no AC3 support, and they would fix it soon.  I'm very frustrated because the advertisement said this product would convert consumer AVCHD camera format to something I can edit with.  Well I need audio.  Not happy.

Later that day....
I found that I could set teh audio to "streaming" and audio would work in media player.  Now I have to see if it works in the video editor

I could see that the problem is due to either missing or corrupt supported Audio Codec. I have installed the Windows Essentials Codec Pack downloaded from http://www.mediacodec.org/ and every thing is working fine now.
