I´m trying to decode de ISDB-Tb digital televison streams broadcasted in Brazil. In pull mode, only the arcsoft demuxer-decoder pack can do the job. Elecard mpeg demultiplexer corectly recognizes the streams (h264 and aac), but no audio decoder connects to aac output pin...
In push mode, no demuxer works automaticaly (microsoft, elecard, cyberlink, corel-intervideo...). Elecard push mpeg demultiplexer is better cause automaticaly recognizes the streams, but again no decoder connects to aac output pin.
I think we have incompatibility of streamtype. He on ISDB-Tb, are used h264 for video en he-aacV2 for audio. Arcsoft demuxer in pull mode recognizes the audio stream as mpeg-4 audio (stream type, no AAC) and plays ok. Elecard allways recognizes as AAC...
Any problem with he-aacV2 in TS streams?
What I can do?
Thanks in advance.

PS: This is the link for a capture test.

Hello, sfortier.

The problem is that this stream contains LATM AAC stream. Elecard AAC decoder not supports decoding such LATM streams.
You can use Elecard LATM Demulteplexer before decoder.

graph: src->demux->LATM demux->decoder->render.

Hello,

LATM demultiplexer is included in Elecard Codec SDK G4 .
After SDK installation this filter can be found here: "C:\Program Files\Elecard\Elecard Codec SDK G4\Bin\elatmdmx.ax"
You should register this filter using regsvr32 to be able to use it in Graphedit application.

Thanks to all!
Worked!
But I thinked that 1-seg on Brazil used HE-AAC v2 audio, but eaacd.ax show lc-aac profile...
That´s ok. Now I have sound.
Thanks again.

Hello, sfortier.

What version of decoder used? Latest release (1.1.013185.080625) have nearly correct behavior.
Maybe the problem is the LC profile displayed just after connection? When graph is running,
correct HE profile will be displayed.
It is not always possible to detect HE before stream starts. BTW, decoder works with HE (in 24kHz->out 48kHz).
And, since this stream has explicit SBR signaling, this issue will be fixed at next release.

hehe. Smiley
That´s ok. Profile change to HE on play...

Now. I have another question. On realtime playing (decoding the stream in push mode) I get weird sound. The  sound has something equivalent to dropframes. Less with elecard decoder, more with ffdshow decoder. This is some buffer problem?

Thanks again.

Hi,
I am working on oneseg mobile receiver for Brazil. I need sample transport streams with NCL(Ginga) content.
The file you mentioned in the above link doesn't contain any NCL content. Please help me regarding this.
Thanks in advance.
