AVC decoder performance

Dear all,

I am working on Intel Atom 230 PC to decode H.264 streams using Elecard AVC decoder. The streams 1920x1080i resolution at 29 Hz is playing very slowly. The audio and vidoe is not synchronized properly. This is the case with my Core2Duo 1.8 Ghz. Please tell me which hardware will be suitable for decoding the above stream.

Also tell me whether Elecard AVC decoder will decode all H.264 streams irrespective of the profile and level.
