I am evaluating the Converter Studio and an happy with the UI and video conversion results but am confused with the audio convertion results.  I am trying to convert an unprotected MPEG2 DVD to AVC/H.264 MPEG4.  The AVC custom profiles produce MP4 files with good video results but the 5.1 audio tracks are always converted to stereo.  When I go the the audio settings and select "Stream Copy" it snaps right back to AAC.

I have tried other MPEG4 profiles but they create multiple file outputs.  All other attempts have resulted in stereo output conversion too.

How do you preserve the 5.1 audio tracks?

Good day, sirs

The last version of Elecard Converter Studio 3.3 allows you to stream copy your 5.1 AC3 audio into converted file.

Also we advice you to visit www.ac3filter.net web site and download AC3 filter following this link

http://ac3filter.googlecode.com/files/ac3filter_1_63b.exe
and try to convert your DVD video again

Wish you success
Emil
