For interlaced movies use "MBAFF" encoding mode and two B-frames with "All disposable" mode.
For progressive movies use "Frame" encoding mode and three B-frames with "Hierarchical" mode.

Hi,

I am encoding DVD movies to MPEG2 TS. They will be used with PAL STBs. Should I use Frame mode or MBAFF?

Also, should I use deinterlacing in Video transformation?

Thanks in advance.
