Hello.

I'm using the canon HV10 High Definition camera with 1080i resolution. The pictures have a very fine noise what i like very much, but when im encoding the stream with the MP4Cinema settings with Bitrate 5000 instead of the normally 2000 used, of course the size of the encoded stream is much smaller than the original MPEG2 stream, but unfortunately the noise is disappeared. I know that noise need bigger file size, but very small size is not such important for me. I wanna preserve largely the original impression of the noisy character of the movie, so i wanna ask for some settings. Its possible to change some things in the "advanced video coding parameters" to reach this little bit noisy effect again for H.264 streams ?

Thanks.

Thank you for question. We have feature for your problem in our roadmap. It is call "Film Grain Optimization". With this feature you can save noise in encoded stream without increasing of bitrate.  We will implement it in next versions of ConverterStudio.
