Elecard has implemented simple functionality for the SDI capturing/rendering and DVB-ASI connection.http://www.elecard.com/products/embedded/fpga-solutions/hdaccess.php We are going to add the smart DVB streams remultiplexer for ASI side in the near future. In regard to SDI we are planning to implement Colour Space conversion and denoising functionality. If the present functionality not covers your requirements we will be glad to realize it.

What about extended DVB-ASI inputs/outputs? Do you plane to made a backplane panel with SDI/ASI sockets?
Like as a AJA PCI-E board ext panel. I think, it will be interesting for professional playout stations and other Pro Broadcasting solutions.

We have reserved 26 LVDS pairs especially for this case. We are planning to expand number of SDI and ASI I/O by daughter board that will occupy neighbouring PC slot. The second variant that we will realise is some kind of backplane like Aja's boards.

If I understand clearly 24 LVDS pairs = 24 DVB-ASI or SDI input/outputs?
Do you have roadmap for backplane or PC slot ext? We are interested in this for few applications.
