I'am trimming my avi files that are in xvid format that i converted from mpeg2 to xvid using media coder, but after i trim out what i need to trim out, i play them in vlc and i'am always getting the avi filing is broken seeking wont work properly want to fix the index?? but if i do it only temp, why is this happening?Huh?

Dear puppetj,
How do you trim your AVI files? AVI is a file container and the index file is placed in the beginning or in the end of the file. So, when you just trim it without reindexing the file either won't be playable or the duration will be wrong.
