I am trying to upgrade from the Elecard Mpeg-2 Encoder STD v4.1 to the 4.4 version of the same filter. I've had some previous discussions regarding this process but have lost my email thread and source code. I'm using the 1.2.1.60412 version fo the .Net SDK, I have uninstalled the 4.1 encoder STD pack and installed the 4.4 pack.

I dont have a CLSID for the 4.4 version and Elecard.ElUids.Filters.CLSID_EM2VE_STD is not present in the Consts source code. A search through the registry turned up the clsid CB1DD90B-3DED-4924-98f4-B7A8893d5BBB. I tried recompiling consts with this value and during a conversion it just ignores the video stream completely and all i get is audio.

Am I using the wrong clsid? what changes are required to my program to update from the old STD encoder to the new one?

I've lost any directions that may have accompanied the new encoder version as well.

regards,

JohnF

We switched to new G4 codec SDK, instead of use old MainConcept components.
If you are official user of our SDK's, please, contact our sales for free update. If not, please, buy the new G4 codec SDK. Free evaluation is available here http://www.elecard.com/products/products-pc/sdk/codec-sdk/
