Hi,

I just recently downloaded Elecard XMuxer Pro version 2.5.105 build 70528 from your site (along with the Elecard AVC PlugIn 2.0 build 70420) and while attempting to mux a vc-1 video file, details on stream is:
Code:

General #0
Complete name        : C:\FEATURE_1_MERGED.VC-1.s0.vc1
Format               : VC-1
File size            : 11.6 GiB

Video #0
Codec                : VC-1
Width                : 1920 pixels
Height               : 1080 pixels
Aspect ratio         : 16/9
PixelAspectRatio     : 1.000

with an AC3 audio file, details on audio stream is:
Code:

General #0
Complete name        : C:\FEATURE_1_MERGED.rebuilt.DD+.stream.00.ac3
Format               : AC3
Format/Info          : Audio Coding 3
File size            : 421 MiB
PlayTime             : 1h 31mn
Bit rate             : 640 Kbps

Audio #0
Codec                : AC3
Bit rate             : 640 Kbps
Bit rate mode        : CBR
Channel(s)           : 6 channels
Channel positions    : Front: L C R, Rear: L R, Subwoofer
Sampling rate        : 48 KHz

The result was not so good. I let the application run for about 5 minutes and got a 44,929 KB file. The resulting info on the mux.ts file is:

Code:

General #0
Complete name        : C:\mux.ts
Format               : MPEG-1 Transport
Format/Family        : MPEG-1
File size            : 43.9 MiB
PlayTime             : 15s 800ms
Bit rate             : 23 Mbps

Audio #0
PlayTime             : 15s 800ms
Bit rate             : 512 Kbps
Sampling rate        : 48 KHz

Audio #1
Codec                : AC3
Bit rate             : 640 Kbps
Bit rate mode        : CBR
Channel(s)           : 6 channels
Channel positions    : Front: L C R, Rear: L R, Subwoofer
Sampling rate        : 48 KHz

I get this extra audio stream which completely messes up the file!!

The following graph is shown after directly loading the VC1 file in XMuxer Pro:

and for audio:

Anything I can try to resolve this? Thanks.

2 things ...

1) How can I splice (split) off a piece of the VC-1 file? Its 12.5 GB in size

and

2) Uploading the entire movie infringies on copyright laws in USA --I dont want to break the law so please help answer #1 and I'll push the samples over to the FTP site.

I've uploaded a chunk of the vc-1 file to the /falljoy directory, I also include the ac3 file though I don't think it has any problems.

I ran another test tonight just trying to remux the video file only and the extra "mystery" audio stream shows up via mediainfo. Odd. Let me know what you find.

Dear falljoy,
Please download the new version of demultiplexer component it must help (https://db.elecard.net.ru/productloader/getfile.php?id=rsmytdlp_1190134799%2Fempgdmx.zip). Copy empgdmx.ax into "C:\Program Files\Elecard\Elecard XMuxer Pro\Components\" folder and try to repeat your tests. Inform me about results. Thanks.

Dear falljoy.
I create TS stream with your VC1 stream, its playback normally. Please dowload it until 2007-09-24 (https://db.elecard.net.ru/productloader/getfile.php?id=yqxhlwix_1190653199%2Fvc1_to_ts.zip) and check.
Inform me about results.

The result is not good. The file does not play (in VLC) and MediaInfo shows:

Code:

General #0
Complete name        : C:\vc1_to_ts.ts
Format               : MPEG-1 Transport
Format/Family        : MPEG-1
File size            : 184 MiB
PlayTime             : 1mn 29s
Bit rate             : 17 Mbps

Audio #0
PlayTime             : 1mn 29s
Bit rate             : 512 Kbps
Sampling rate        : 48 KHz

It still shows that corrupt AUDIO stream. What does your MediaInfo say about the file?

Dear falljoy,
My MediaInfo also cannot detect video stream in this file, it detect audio, but this stream is VC1 video elementary stream.
This file is normally playback in Cyberlink Power DVD, TSReader also detect VC1 in this stream.
