I had been sucessfully using the avc trial/demo decoder in all my directshow compatible players obviously with the watermark in the top corner.
I decided to purchase a key and activated the plugin as instructed.
This however has not removed the watermark. Have I purchased the wrong plugin or is there any version that works with dvbviewer or mediaplayer classic etc.

The same here...
Although the Elecard registrator says: "Activated" for the filter, the MainConcept settings dialog box tells me I'm using a demo and consequently shows the annoying logo in the top righthand corner.

Earlier I've send an email about the issue to Eugene, but never got an answer.

Maybe it's because we're using the filter in another application than the intended ProgDVB?

According to VIA Licensing limitations AVC and AAC codecs can be sold for end-using purposes only with some particular application they were intended to work with, i.e. there shouldn't be AVC/AAC plug-in which once registered in a system would work with all applications. That is why we offer AVC plug-in that works only with our applications. However, we work on AVC plug-in for WMP which would work with files as well as network streams and expect it to be released within this month or so.

Meanwhile we can offer you our world-known MPEG Player + AVC plug-in for AVC files playback.
