DVD decoder and subtitles?

I am playing a VOB file using the Elecard MPEG-2 decoder and my directshow application, and I would like to display subtitles from the VOB file.  Is this supported?

I tried downloading the trial Elecard DVD player to open the VOB file, and I can see the subtitle option using that player, but it is disabled.

Thank you for posting.

We can confirm that Elecard DVD Player supports subtitles. Usually the main reason you don't see subtitles (and appropriate menu item is greyed out) is that the VOB file doesn't comprise subtitles at all or menu wasn't loaded completely yet.

If you would like to display subtitles from the VOB file using our components you should enable Subpicture support at the Elecard MPEG Demultiplexer and Elecard MPEG-2 Decoder properties.
