create iPod compliant file

I see "How to create PSP and iPod compliant file" on the Elecard knowledgebase. About Ipod, Quantization type must be used H.263? Why?Can we use another quantization type(table) when we create Ipod compliant file ? Has someone know the more detail spec. for IPod stream format? Thanks!

There is specification for iPod and based on this spec we have set paramentrs for our encoding device. If you change the quantation type it should not impact encoding quality, MPEG quantation will also work- go ahead and try it, if it does not work, just let us know.
