I have load your Trial of XMUXER and H.264 Plugin.
And want to buy it, but I have the folling Problem.

I try to remux a H.264 TS Stream with AC3 Audio, recorded with DVB-Viewer from German ProSiebenHD

When I load the TS in XMUXER, it is every display the Video Stream, nut not the Audio Stream.
The TS is recorded with DVB-Viewer. Why did XMUXER dont`t show the Audio Stream?

When I try load a MPEG2/TS the Audio Stream is displaying. And I can remux.

When ist is possible to cut a Stream with XMUXER?

Thanks for your help

Hello Kostya,
and congrats for the efforts on XMuxer Pro.
But it is now a month ago that You claimed: the problem with audio not being remuxed into a h.264 video "is well known and fixed".

I loaded the latest version (...60823, right?), but it still doesn't work!
Can you give any exact date for a fixed version to come out?

And in another thread you talked about a streamlist option, with which one can merge files....
Does that mean, I can load a h.264 ts-stream, cut the commercials out, put the parts on a list, and then have XMuxer join them back together to a commercial-free h.264-movie ?

That would be ABSOLUTELY PERFECT !!
Or did I misunderstand something ?

Best regards ThomasK

Could you place on ours ftp (http://ftp://ftp.elecard.net.ru in incoming/Kostya/ folder, login:uploader, password:ybrjveybrf) H.264 Transport Stream file (no more 25 Mb). It will help to us determine and solve this problem.
In occasion of merge files, really if you have some homogeneous small files you can create a text file with "xpl" extension, for example:
c:\part1.mpg
c:\part2mpg
.....
c:\partN.mpg
And then open this created file in XMuxer Pro in Remux mode and to receive on an output one file.

Hi Kostya,
and thank you for your reply.
I tried to upload the clips to your ftp server this morning but it wouldn't let me in: '530 password incorrect'
Huh

- For my better understanding:
why would I want to demux and then mux clips, when I can 'remux' them in one step, including cutting.

- The merging of clips REALLY WORKS !!! Only the clips length information is totally wrong once you cut them.
Example: when I cut a 29min-clip back to 27min, after cutting it shows me something like 15min length when played again...??

- There seems to be no place where you mention the merging option in your manuals, or did I oversee them?

Can you please give me a new password for the ftp uploading?

Thanks and regards

Hi Kostya,
finally I got to upload the files in your folder 'Kostya'.

I just sent you a 10sec-h.264-clip from Pro7 HD, demuxed into a video file and a .mpa audio file.
And this is the problem: in demuxing the only option to save  the audio file is mpa, although the file REALLY IS an AC3-file. Why?
Second problem: there is no way in XMuxer Pro to mux these two files back together.
How can I mux these two uploaded files back together ??

Other question:
What is REMUXING, compared to MUXING ?? Maybe I have a basic understanding problem here, sorry.

Best regards

Hi ThomasK,

Thanks for the files, they helped us to define a problem. The problem is in Elecard Demultiplexer component, in the short time this problem will be solved and it will be updating for Elecard XMuxer Pro 2.1, or it will be included into new version of Elecard XMuxer Pro and Lite.

In Demux mode when you select output file name you can enter file extension necessary for you. Automatic exhibiting of output files extensions depending on files type will be added in the next version of Elecard XMuxer. I will inform you.

Differences between Remux and Mux modes. In Remux mode you can process only one file with trim options. In Mux mode trim option is inaccessible, but there is an ability to create PS/TS/MP4/AVI streams from several elementary streams.

If you have still questions address I will try to help you.

Konstantin.
