Hi,
Sorry for the problem!
Unfortunately you are right - because of some reason the old version was kept on the site... Could you please try the new version? Or you can download and try the Decoder & Streaming Pack (http://elecard.com/products/consumer/149/mpeg2-decoder).
Please feel free to contact us should you have further question.

Hi Eugene! I can confirm that the new mpeg4 splitter that comes up with the newest version of the MPEG player 4.0.1 does NOT crash MixMeister anymore.

Unfortunately, the filter graph viewer is still disabled even in the newest version, so i have to use an older copy of "MPegPlayer.exe" (version 4.0.31.50908) and "ELGViewer.dll" (version 1.0.5.50826) where this very important feature still works.

Hi,
OK, nice to hear it!
Yes, we are fixing this issue and I hope we'll be able to release the new version soon.
Thank you for your testing!

I was using an old version of Elecard player and it was working fine (with a watermark) with Windows Media Encoder.

I just bought the Player today (March 22nd 2006) and I downloaded and installed version 4.061 build 60126.

Now I open an MPEG2 file in Windows Media Encoder, and the Encoder crashes immediately.

Now I read that others have had the same problem. Do you have a solution?

Here are the installed builds:
Demultiplexer 1.0.19 (build 51017)
Video decoder 1.0.172 (build 51213)
Audio decoder 1.5.333 (build 60120)

Hi,
You mention about "old version" - maybe you can clarify what version you used?

I too have my WME encoder not crash but throws an error saying the input media format is invalid . I have tried
4.0.31.50908
1.0.82.50825
1.5.232.50825
1.0.0.50824

It used to work until I upgraded the player and now WME does not work.
