On Picture transofrmation - "Input picture type" - You should specify picture type of input stream, because some times it is impossible to verify input picture type.

Hello. You should use any "MPEG-2 DVD ....." profile. If you want, you can enable deinterlacing.

Your serial number must work on new version. But if you download new version from our web site, it is not work. Because it is demo version.  You can't activate demo version. Thank you for question. We have feature for your problem in our roadmap. It is call "Film Grain Optimization". With this feature you can save noise in encoded stream without increasing of bitrate.  We will implement it in next versions of ConverterStudio.

RDO it is more dificult model and must icrease of video quality, but right now we have some minor problems with RDO (it will be fixed ASAP), you should use SADT - it is faster.

You can create your own profile. Please, try to disable deinterlace, framte rate conversion, resize and increase bitrate.

Components of Converter Studio can't import MOV files, but it can use registered in sytem codecs. If you have decoder and demuxer for MOV files, than ConverterStudio can import it.
