1  PC Products / Elecard Converter Studio / recoding AVC, MPEG2, VC1 from blu-ray on: September 23, 2008, 09:56:20 am
Hello,

I just acquired converter studio so forgive me if this is a stupid question. I am trying to recode blu-ray titles so that I can store these on my media server. I noticed that titles encoded with AVC work great. However, titles with MPEG2 stop after a couple of minutes whereas converter studio reports that the job is completed. Finally VC1 titles will not recode at all; the converter studio does not even start the process. Am I right that VC1 is not a valid input? Are there workarounds? Can somebody confirm that MPEG2 from blu-ray have problems? I am able to recode MPEG2 from my TiVo HD (1080i or 720p).

Thanks!
