1  PC Development Kits / AVC/H.264 solutions / Why DXVA doesn't work anymore ? on: July 24, 2007, 03:28:54 am
Hi snoopyDog, it's really a good summary!
After getting tried with 8600GTS and 2400Pro, i decided to stay with NVidia.

By the way, today i've noticed Elecard AVCdecoder version number has returned to 2.0.70420?

I think you mean nVidia driver version number 165.01, not 1.65

yes that was a mistake.

Look man!
What do you mean?
I just wanna learn whether someone get tried or not?
I do not want to beat someone.
I'm not from Germany as you, and i do not know one word of german.
I say, with my licenced decoder i couldn't activate hardware acceleration
with so-called -beta- driver 1.65.
Just tell me is it possible or not?

Currently only under Vista with the EVR (enhanced video renderer), but nVidia will provide a driver for XP also.

Recently i made a trial with new beta driver(Nvidia Forceware 1.65) on XP32bit with my new 8600GTS.
I used avc decoder v.3.0.7299.0.
Neither deinterlace nor hardware acceleration did not work.
Is anyone who tries?
