Elecard releases the updated version of HEVC Analyzer that comes with numerous new features.

Today, Elecard, a leading developer of codecs for digital video, officially announced the release of the updated version of Elecard HEVC Analyzer v0.1.00, the newest video quality analysis tool for the High-Efficiency Video Coding format (HEVC), also known as H.265.

The updated version of Elecard HEVC Analyzer brings the PSNR clip metrics calculation that is now processed by the real CU partitions, as well as the feature of displaying not only the average PSNR, but also the metrics calculated for a particular component. Scroll bars, video zooming, ability to drag values inside the pixel window, optimized memory usage, index creation stage and others are just a few features from the big list.
