MultiStreamer
A program is designed to provide streaming of live video
from any number of web cameras simultaneously. It enables the user
to stream video from Desktop (The camera connected to PC via USB)
and IP (The camera available o the net over IP) cameras in MPEG4 format with varying
resolutions, bitrates, and framerates. There are independent control
tools for IP or Desktop cameras.
IP camera has its address in the network. Often the format of
streaming video is MPEG4. Desktop cameras stream raw video.
To launch the program double click the file MultiStreamer.exe.
Desktop camera
- You can select whether Desktop or IP camera should be used with the radio button and
select specific cam with the combo box.
- In the Desk port field you can specify the port to which you will stream the video
from the selected cam. You can also specify resolution, bitrate and framerate in the appropriate fields.
- In the 'Count enc' field you can specify quantity of settings for one cam.
IP camera
- You can select whether Desktop or IP camera should be used with the radio button.
- To be able to capture video from IP cam you should know its address (interface and port). IP camera address is specified on one of the tabs. Tabs can be added and deleted.
- To select streaming from an IP can with or without transcoding in the MultiStreamer window there is the check box Transcoder.
- In the 'Count enc' field you can specify quantity of settings for one cam.
